這是讓我愛上Coldplay的第一首歌。
第一次聽Coldplay的專輯就是腦充血這張，老實說這張專輯雖然有幾首當時聽了覺得頗順耳的歌，但是沒有這首歌，Coldplay這個名字不會在我心中留下記憶。
第一次聽一首歌聽到不自覺的流淚，在Chris Martin極富感染力的嗓音下，漸漸的你會被這首歌的情緒所浸盈。
歌詞內容頗有意思，一個科學家追憶一段逝去的過去，希望一切能回到原點，卻發現這困難的沒人可以辦到。
副歌不斷的唱著：No body said it was easy. No one ever said it would be so hard. 科學家彷彿用一種半是埋怨世人的口吻，道出心底深深的懊悔，其實這深深的懊悔背後，最該責怪的人就是自己啊！
科學家幻想著走到所愛之人的面前，告訴她，自己多麼為過去的錯後悔，但一切都已經失去...
